The Pub

Dating back to 1782, the Boatside Inn has a rich history as an alehouse and is a popular destination for drinkers and diners both local and from further afield. Our bar and snug areas are popular with casual diners and dog walkers. Enjoy the full menu or simply have a light snack while passing through on your walk. We serve a range of guest cask ales, lagers, bottled beers from Germany as well as some specialist gins and whisky.

Mary

This is a pretty pub in a lovely setting, our room was clean, light and airy with good decor. The shower was strong and hot. Breakfast was tasty and served with a cheery smile. Evening meals were great on both occasions. The staff we spoke to were all polite, friendly and helpful.
